There’s a chance you’ve not heard about Monki. If you’re pregnant (or if you’re not), you should definitely check them out, and here’s why.
A Swedish brand part of the H&M group, they have a couple of stores in the UK in London’s Carnaby Street and Bristol, with plans to open new ones in Glasgow and Westfield Stratford later in the year. Whilst they don’t have many stores in the UK they do have a really good website!
They have lots of styles which are really flattering for pregnancy, without being frumpy. A lot are oversized, and so will happily house a growing bump, whilst still feeling ‘fashion’ and not tent like! Plus it may just be a seasonal thing, but there are loads of stretchy waistbands in the current assortment, which are definitely pregnancy friendly.
Sizing is generous, so unlike their sister brand H&M you don’t feel like a whale because you’re having to go up 3 sizes for each product.
The prices are really reasonable so you don’t have to break the bank to invest in a couple of fashion pieces to spruce up your maternity wardrobe.
Monki also doesn’t shy away from prints, so you can keep it really interesting, having a few key pieces which bring vitality and interest to your pregnancy outfits.
Here’s my picks of the current assortment…
