There’s a good chance you’ve not heard of Lindex, as it only has one store in the UK in Stratford London, but it’s definitely worth checking out online. Huge in Europe, they’re focussed on quality affordable fashion for everyday.
They do have their own range of maternity wear, but with generous fitting, high stretch and elasticated waists, even their main range has some great options for you and your growing bump this season.
Here’s The Bump Edit’s picks.
Elasticated waists are of course your friend for pregnancy / maternity wear, and Lindex has some great options even in their non maternity.
Wide Pleated Trousers
My legs are far too short for them but these wide leg trousers are great. Go simple with your top, and dark if you’re looking to distract from your bump, and wedges (if you can’t manage heels go with a platform trainer)
If you’re looking for something stightly more fitted but not tailoered, these ankle length trousers with tapered leg are super flattering.
MOM Satin Trousers
And in the MOM maternity range, these satin trousers capture the athleisure trend really well. Wear with heels and a blazer for work for a real update to your pregnancy look.
Pleated Chiffon Skirt
I’m so pleased the pleated skirt isn’t going anywhere this season, and this monochrome elastic waist version is a good update if you’re not brave enough for pink metallic! Its quite long, so be prepared for it to be more full length than midi if you’re not too tall like me. Or if you have a neat little bump you could wear it over the bump.
Slim Coated Trousers
Leather maternity trousers are a tough find without spending a small fortune, so these coated trousers are a good option, giving you a leather look for less.
Wide Cotton Blouse
Moving away from stretchy waistbands, even though I’m not a huge fan of shirts, I love this oversized shirt, and it’s perfect for pregnancy, tuck it in at the start, and it’ll work as your bump grows either wearing over slim maternity jeans, or even knotted over a jersey pencil skirt. And if you’re not such a big fan of your pregnancy hips/ bum, its longer at the back than the front and split at the sides, so the perfect cover up.
Lindex also have a great range of non wired bras in case you don’t want to go straight to nursing bras. At around £15 they’re also pretty reasonable which is great when your shape and size is changing all the time.
